About Us

Founded by Bill Chinn in 1965, our garage has become a fixture in the Bridgwater community. After starting out at Armoury Garage and Westway Service Station, Bill opened Central Motor Co in August of ’65 with one goal: to offer honest, dependable service. His son, Steve, took over in 1995, and the business has since continued to grow.

Time has passed, and the company has grown and endured while neighbouring businesses in Bridgwater have come and gone. Even now, many of our original customers and their families continue to return for their vehicle servicing.

Now, we’re heading into our 60th year. We’re still a family-run approved garage, providing quality work and honest service. Customers are always welcome to see our mechanics at work and have a friendly chat.
